Universal Orlando Movie Watch List {Free printable}

Six years ago I had a work convention in Orlando, Florida. I was able to squeeze in a day and a half at the Universal Orlando parks before the work conference, and James was able to join me. We explored the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and I was hooked.

I fell in-love.

Ever since that trip I have always had this strong dream of taking my kids to experience Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade because it felt like pure magic.

And this year – we are FINALLY able to make that dream a reality.

This is a big trip for our family, and I’d love to keep the excitement up for this vacation. So I compiled a list of movies to watch to prepare for Universal Orlando.

Since I have a mix of young children and teenagers, I made two versions of movie checklists.

One list I felt was a little more family friendly for the younger children in our family, and the other list includes all the movies related to the rides for an older audience that my husband and I (and perhaps our pre-teen and teenager) would want to watch before we go. (I have a feeling my summer is going to be filled with a lot of late-night movie nights with my teenagers.)

Another note: Find what works best for YOUR family. If there’s a movie on the list that you don’t think your kids are ready for, just scribble over it and move on. That’s the beauty of this – find what works for you.

Optional Movie Add-Ons:
– Percy Jackson Movies or Clash of the Titans– There’s a ride called Poseidon’s Fury & this might be a fun way to get the Greek mythology. James and I actually rode this ride the year we went because it had a low wait line and was air conditioned and we thought it was fun.
– Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse – This is an excellent option with alternative versions of Spider-Men & Women, and villains as well.
